Scheduling a Ride
You can schedule and reserve a ride up to one month in advance by calling our office. We suggest you call two days in advance to schedule your ride, but even last minute trips can be accommodated for an additional fee. All rides are provided on a first-come, first-serve basis. When you schedule your ride, be sure to tell the dispatcher or driver if you are planning multiple stops.
Rainbow Rider buses may arrive 10 minutes early or late in picking up or dropping off. Rainbow Rider will wait 3 minutes from the time the bus arrives for the passenger to board the bus. As a courtesy to all other passengers, please be ready or contact Rainbow Rider if you must cancel. Last minute schedule changes must be made through our dispatch center, including cancellations. Failure to cancel or board the bus within 3 minutes of arrival is considered a No-Show. Rainbow Rider reserves the rights to suspend service after 3 no-shows.
Seat belts are required by the state to be worn by all seated passengers. All mobility aids must be secured within the vehicle by the driver.
Door to Door Service
Rainbow Rider offers door to door service. Drivers will assist passengers safely from the bus to an exterior door of the pick-up or drop-off locations. Drivers will assist passengers with packages, provided packages do not exceed 25 pounds total and can be delivered in one trip.
